Billing information

What We Offer

At Neuropsychological Consulting Australia, we aim to provide clear and transparent information about fees and billing before appointments are confirmed.

The cost of an assessment or therapy session will depend on the type of service required, the complexity of the referral question, and the level of reporting or documentation needed. A fee estimate will be provided at the time of booking.

Where appropriate, services may be funded through third parties, including:

  • Medicare

  • TAC

  • WorkSafe / WorkCover

  • NDIS

  • Legal, medico-legal, or insurance referrals

  • Self-funded private referrals

For third-party funded assessments, written funding approval is generally required before an appointment can be confirmed. This helps ensure that the scope of the assessment, reporting requirements, and billing arrangements are clear from the outset.

Neuropsychological assessment services are not always eligible for Medicare rebates. Where Medicare rebates may apply, a valid Mental Health Care Plan is required from your GP addressed to Dr Natalie Grima. Clients are encouraged to contact us before booking if they are unsure about funding options or whether a rebate may apply.

Payment arrangements, cancellation fees, and any additional reporting requirements will be discussed prior to the appointment.

  • Comprehensive assessment of thinking skills, memory, attention, language, executive functioning, and behaviour to assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and recommendations.

  • Decision-making capacity assessments provide a specialist clinical opinion about a person’s ability to make a specific decision at a particular point in time. This may include decisions about finances, medical treatment, accommodation, lifestyle matters, appointing an attorney or guardian, or changing a will. These reports can be used for VCAT purposes.

  • Cognitive rehabilitation provides individualised support for people experiencing changes in memory, attention, planning, organisation, or mental efficiency. Rehabilitation focuses on building practical strategies, supporting confidence, and helping clients use their cognitive strengths to make meaningful functional gains in everyday life.

  • Support for people experiencing sleep difficulties, fatigue, reduced mental stamina, or cognitive inefficiency related to poor sleep, stress, health conditions, or neurological changes. Treatment uses evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia, to help clients better understand their sleep patterns, improve rest, and build practical strategies for managing energy across daily life.

Payment Methods

To make payment simple and secure, debit and credit card payments are processed through Zeller. A range of card types are accepted, including Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, American Express, JCB, China UnionPay, Diners Club, and Discover.

For self-funded clients, payment is requested on the day of the appointment unless otherwise arranged. Where an assessment is funded by a third party, written approval is usually required before the appointment can be confirmed, and we can assist with this process.

A card processing fee may apply to card payments. This will be clearly communicated at the time of payment.
